Government releases prisoners!!! Update: 2006.10.12

3 years later and the local crook has not been caught nor released from jail. Had he been caught and arrested like he was supposed to have been then he may have be released or pardoned where I could have gotten my money back by now. I have had extreme difficulties dealing with the local Police authorities in Abu Dhabi in responding to this case. As you can see this case has taken roughly 3 years now and the Police Officials in Abu Dhabi have either been really lagging on this case or just simply turning a blind eye to this case. As of now, I have neither received my money back and neither has Ibrahim Mohammed Hassan Ahmed been arrested.

Below is a news article about how well the UAE government treat their arrested criminals, by releasing them, by paying back their debts up to Dh 3.6 million, and to find jobs for them!!!!

Khalifa orders release of 751 prisoners

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered the release of 751 UAE nationals and expatriate prisoners on the occasion of Ramadan.

Shaikh Khalifa also ordered to pay the debts of the prisoners amounting to Dh3.6 million.Shaikh Khalifa directed the Abu Dhabi Council for Emiratisation to find jobs for the released UAE nationals.
